The SWCC Writing Center will open for the semester on Tues., September 8, in the library (Writing Center will be located in the library until construction in the Success Center, room 213, Instructional Center, is completed). Hours are Tuesdays from 1:30-3:30 p.m. and Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
English instructors Stephen Jefferies and Kelly Franklin operate the Writing Center to assist students with writing-related issues. Students do not have to be in English classes. They may be from any classes offered at SWCC, however questions do need to be writing-related.
Typical Writing Center sessions last from 25-45 minutes. No appointments are needed and walk-ins are encouraged.
